FredAfter purchasing a 78' Triumph Bonneville several years ago and having it in and out of shops. I finally stumbled upon Virginia Vintage Cycle. After having read so many positive reviews online and I expected nothing less. Throughout the entire process Rob was very professional. He completed the work in a timely manner (general overhaul, carbs, wiring harness etc.). He also took the time to update me on what he was doing with the motorcycle periodically. His quality of work is excellent. I wish I would have brought it to him to begin with. It would have saved me a lot of time, money and unnecessary frustration. The motorcycle is running better than it ever has in my ownership. Shortly after I picked up the bike I had a minor issue and Rob came to me free of charge to resolve the problem. I really can't say enough about my experience at Virginia Vintage Motorcycle. I will be returning if I run into any more problems. Thanks again Rob.
- Adam LI don’t trust my girl, a 1972 Norton Commando Combat 750, with just anyone. Rob had such high reviews online I took a stab at VVC to sort out some post rebuild fit and finish items. He sorted the bike and spotted some other issues which boosted my confidence for long rides. Great guy. Great, knowledgeable work. Only problem with VVC is all Triumphs on their website; no NORTONs!!!
- Dan SI had a BSA cylinder that had 4 broken fins due to careless handling by another shop. I found Robs shop on a search for cylinder repair. Shipped it to him for welding. The results are very good and the turn around time was also good. Rob kept me posted on the progress and returned it in fine order. If you have any work to have done on your vintage bikes you can't go wrong with him. Good to find quality workmanship is still out there. Dan S. Indiana
